Secret Memories


They go in strong, Thinking their unstoppable, Brave and confident. Then the storm hits… BAM! And they all fall down, more than once. They flinch and stumble. Their bodies are scarred. Their surprised it’s reality. Then it’s time to return home, And face the people The Thank-You’s start, But they don’t feel special. They just know it’s their job. They’re our hearts, Our borders, Our Safety
