Secret Of The Poet, By: Keith Eagle
- I started writing poetry to express the tough times I had.
- Knowing that deep inside I was really mad.
- About the loss of my childhood friend.
- Sitting beside him on the curb telling him to, "hang on" knowing this is the end.
- Of his life, wishing I could've done more.
- Thinking about his mom was eating at my core.
- I wrote my first, and titled it "Why You?"
- To shine light on the hard feelings, and this is true.
- That I lost him at his own evil fight.
- Is the reason I say a prayer every single night.
- I made a promise to pour respect on the Earth he use to walk.
- And go see him yearly to sit and talk.
- Deeply about how much I miss him, and will continue to show it.
- This is the secret of Keith Eagle the poet.
