The Secret She Holds
I know a secret this one girl had.
She told me to never tell,
And with that I was within her spell.
She said she was trapped,
She was constantly touched.
She couldn't understand,
What they had done.
They said she was to blame,
And it was their secret to take to the grave.
She said it had happened for years,
And with this came the tears.
She said she didn't fully understand,
Until she felt him inside of her body.
She learned the next day at school,
That her love was bruised.
She went home the next night,
And when he tried again,
She knew she would fight.
He came in with lust filled eyes,
She could tell he was mesmerized.
While he was distracted she found the knife,
And then she watched him lose his life.
She cried and wept,
When the police arrived.
At the station she asked for
A paper and a pen.
She finished her letter and then left.
The officers found her outside,
Hanging from the tree.
They discovered her letter,
That is what I have read.
This is her death note,
Of the words unsaid.
