For the Secretly Admired

For the secretly admired You don’t understand what your presence does to me When you smile a chill goes through my body When you talk I can’t describe the feeling that overcomes me And more importantly when you look my way, I smile until and even as my face hurts The thoughts that race through my head are too many to begin to name as The idea of you just makes me sink Into deep thought and physical imagination as I watch you with such envy for the girl who has your heart And even more envious of the woman that will keep it and bear your children I envy the woman who you will start a family with knowing it could never be me because Even as I breathe the same air you breathe Sitting in the same room Coming face to face You don’t even know I exist Sincerely anonymous
