Secrets
Every sound stands out
Can hear every breath of air
The emotions scream, they shout
Cannot hide them here, they’re bare
But alone again, they consume her
With every second, they weigh her down
To tell someone would be the cure
But whenever there are people around
She wears the mask of a smile
Seems as happy as can be
Yet, she’s crying all the while
Afraid to show what it is they don’t see
