secrets

As I wake up

I can hear the sounds

of the dawn

it's so peaceful

but I never get enough

of the quiet peace

I just wish I could have a moment

suspended in time and place

just to hear nothing

but the quiet outside

beause the quiet outside is so loud

when you get to lisen

you hear the soft tussel of the leaves

the sounds as insects scuttle about

or the soft breeze in my ears

and for a moment there is nothing

but me and this quiet sound

as the world sleeps

I linger about hearing all of it's secrets
