Secrets of the Heart

Wisdom and love, That's what lies beneath the heart. But, there is so much more... They've been there from the start. A damaged heart, Pushed by hurried years. Silent, broken cries... Faithful, secret tears. Unwanted memories, Things time will not erase. But, the love is still there, Wisdom, completely self-embraced. How can such a horrid heart, Bring to the world such good? Time marches onward, A loving spirit that did all it could. A heart has such room, Takes on more than it can withhold... Keeps things to itself... Passionate secrets left untold. Love that shines through, Simply for the world to embrace. Troubles of its own, It simply doesn't want to face. Taking on the world, With a fighting heart. That's what we're suppose to do right?.. Basic fundamentals from the start?.. All the world can see, Straight through from the eyes... The deeper meaning and intents of a heart, Undoing all unwanted ties. This world can be so gracious, While tearing apart us all... Keep those beautiful heads held high, Don't allow your heart to stall. Open up for others to accept, The love that is buried within. Stop blaming yourself, Don't consider it a sin... A loving heart so comely, Full of love, wisdom, and flaws... We all contain one of our own, Put them together and we can drop many jaws!
