The Secrets I Hold

The secrets I hold,

are everlasting.

They tear at my every fiber.

used,

broken,

unwanted.

Not pure enough for anyone to hold.

Because he deserves better.

The secrets I hold,

are contradictory,

to the words I have spoken aloud my whole life.

fool,

coward,

hypocrite.

Not even close to the person I once was.

The secrets I hold,

cannot hold me to one place.

run,

away.

Now in hiding, I will find solace.
