The secrets that lay beyond

I told a lie which led to 5 more I spoke a truth but had faces turned away leaving nothing but their backs facing me Even as i sought death nothing seemed true to me Do i stand with the truth that swallows me up Do i dwell in the sea of my past and present lies I feel his gaze The piercing gaze from above I hear the bells The bells that yell it is time I feel these are the secrets from beyond or perhaps another voice in my head
