Secrets of my Hidden Side

Have you ever had that moment?

You know, where nothing seems to go your way.

Life throws twist and turns

It's a bumpy road

It can be fun though

You just have to learn how to enjoy the ride

It will teach you things

That will help you survive

What do I mean?

Well, for me it was poetry.

I was always so sad.

But I couldn't bother my friends

My problems were so small.

But bottling them up always turned out bad.

One day I took a journal

And let my demons out.

I felt so much better

And nobody had to hear my crazy side

I now had my own little book

Of secrets all my own.

I didn't trouble anyone.

But maybe the paper covered in tears.

Poetry started to take over my life,

But nobody seemed to care.

I now had my own little secrets

That nobody would have to bear.
