security

There is security in being yours.

 I no longer worry

About how I look

When I know you think

I am always beautiful.

I no longer worry

About how well I perform

When I know you have seen

All my acts

And memorized all the lines.

I no longer worry

If I am worthy

When you have told me

You would pay any price

-and already have-

To have me as yours.

I no longer worry

That I am hated by everyone.

When I am with you,

There is nothing

Anyone could say

To make you a liar.
