To see a clear sky

You say that it’s okay, cause we’re all trying.

Yet all around all I see are people dying.

The virus- it’s spreading, I can’t stop crying.

Some push the limits and they're all defying.

Lock your doors, and stay at home.

It will just be a few months.

Don’t worry, they say.

Keep your distance,

We’re persistent, we just want you to be safe.

Don’t worry, they say.

When will this be over?

When will the sun begin to rise?

When will all the rain be gone?

Will we live to see clear skies?

Perfect lives, now hospitalized

This is the moment, we meet our demise

Locked in, locked up

Too scared to face the world

Or is it cause we can’t?

Stay inside

Our insides are broken

Ready to shatter as glass does

Or maybe they have already?

Masks, we mask ourselves

Like it will protect us from what we already have

Paranoia. is it over?

Am I dead?

Has my time come yet?

Are we scared to die, or do we sympathize with those who have?

Everything we do is at home, yet we’re tired

Tired of what life has become,

Tired of life.

I'm tired.

But you have to push through.

Find joy in the moments of simplicity!

See the world as the joyful place it used to be!

LIVE to see a clear sky!
