I touch but I cannot feel.
I see but I cannot be seen.
I speak but I cannot be heard.
Numb
Absence of Feeling
Nothingness
That's what I feel like.
Displaced
I don't belong here.
The wind howls
Rushes through the buildings of the city
Wish I could be swept away
Into the air
Into Nothingness
My Heart
My Lungs
I wish they would stop.
Let the inside match the outside.

I smell and breathe in life.
I taste and savor the moments.
I touch and embrace the day.
Where's that smile I used to know so well?
That laugh I used to join in with...
Let me guide you
I'll show you what it means to live.
Feel the sun on your skin
It's warm, it can spread joy across your face.
Sense the wind against your hair
You are HERE!
Therefore you ARE something.
I can hear you
I can feel your heart beat
It thuds with a purpose
It's not the future that matters,
But the NOW that matters
YOU Matter.
Right now, you should live for the moment.
