See Me

See me...
That's all I ask,
Not for what I have but for who I am.
See me as a person, Not as a product,
I am not some thing, I am someone.
A woman to be precise,
Someone's mother, daughter, sister, wife. Someone with a purpose in life.
I am not beneath you,
I am not to be reduced.
You are no greater than me and I no greater than you.
How dare you treat me with disesteem, With or without a crown I am still a queen.
You make sure you see me!
