See the Real Me

Shapes and bumps, awkward looking skin,

wrongly placed lumps, I wish I could fit in.

I look in the mirror and hate what I see,

I really wish I could be anyone but me.

Magic and technology gave me the power to choose

photoshop anyone, get to walk in their shoes.

Ponder and wonder of what I wish to fix,

underweight and tall thrown into the mix.

I wonder and wonder who I wish to be,

the choice is now to pick who I want to see.

The refelection in the mirror starts to change

and all I see, is bright, beautiful,

me.
