To See The Smiles

I want to be a teacher. So this is my poem about how I want to effect the children that I teach.

To see the smiles cross little faces

I feel alive even my heart races

To see the light in little eyes

With understanding, realize

They know now, what they want to do

They see it now, what I led them to

I taught them and they found me

I’m the one who led them to see

They are stars of endless light

They can shine, be ever bright

I showed them that they always shine

And in my heart they’re always mine
