See Ya Sin

This being came out to play Saying he could make my day He swore he meant well, But made me promise not to tell. He pressure me to be sly, And encouraged me to always lie. At first it felt so good, Better than I thought it would. My heart had turned from red to black, And never once did I look back. But then it hit me with a violent blow I realized my actions were low. This horrendous being ruined my life, And I forever lived with sorrowful strife. I had no one else to blame for my shame, Other than my putrid, horrid name. I regret all the hurt I’ve caused, Because I couldn’t take a second to pause. Since I acted like a jerk, He looks at me with that little smirk. This dark figure I called “friend” Only wanted to advance my end. Oh how I wish I could’ve seen That sin causes me to be mean.
