Seeds

Life, death, rebirth when all is gone, I am left.

The choice is mine to be content.

What choice will I chose to sow?

I am left with the deep brown earth.

Two seeds I must sow.

The seed of self-respect and dignity

or the seed of hatred and loathing.

When silence reigns on the deep blue earth.

What fruits will I bear for me?

To be content is to be at peace when vacancy is around me.

To have hostility is as comforting as death when the black pit is growing inside me.

Silence shall fall day by day, how will the darkness treat me?

The choice is mine.

Will I let the dark envelope me or will I walk away?

Will I hang a curtain and deny the light of day?

Or rather jump, leap and play while embracing the light I bear.

Shredding the checklist of comparison.

Embracing the individual I am.

There will always be someone better.

I can be the best me.

I will not let the dark defeat me.

I am choosing to seize the light.

The war will be a challenge but, I have won a battle.

Look out world,I am me.
