The Seeds of War

Acts of aggression towards fellow man, fueled by greed and the acquirement of power, Bloodshed and chaos as a consequence; Casualties and innocent victims imminent. Death to your enemy, death to your loved ones, death to those who stand in the way; Explosions, grenades, bombs pouring over the sky as Friends fade away like distant echoes lost in a fiery void, Genocide looming in the air, reawakening memories of holocaust and mass murder, Hate from the enemy, hate from your fellow countrymen, IEDs, roadside bombs, invisible enemies lurking around you., Just try to stay alive; Kill or be killed, Leave no one behind, corpsmen staying behind to tend to the wounded, Man versus man, man versus machine, Nuclear warheads, chemical weapons, mushroom clouds clogging the earth, leaving it an Opaque wasteland; prosperous cities reduced to ash and rubble. Pride, ego, impulsiveness and arrogance to fuel the bloodbath, Quadriplegics, amputees, broken bodies and wounded souls. Rage and belligerence, Suicide bombers, delusional martyrs;, Terrorists preying upon the weak and unsuspecting. Unknown Soldier tombs, bodies with no name, families left with no answers, Violations of basic rights---a complete disregard for human life, Worried parents and spouses, lonely Christmases, empty seats. Xenophobia for the different and unfamiliar, Youth fighting and dying, while old men declare war. Zero compassion, zero winners… zero survivors.
