Seeing you

An ache an ache
As though mine heart shall break
As eye's are sore for you

A tender hold
A musical moan
I hear from couples bold

How I long
For things I do not know
And pray and dream
Like a wish for the purest snow

A single day is as long and lone
Without the sight of you
And I wait for the evening
With the small surprise at noon
In hopes to speak with you

For that alone can sate my soul
Sooth the ache of my heart

But like a Florida Fall
You rarely come at all
Which most nights
I spend waiting, in hopes, for you
