The Seeker

You come in full of hate.

You walk with a straight face.

Losing your cool, you burst into flames.

You kept your distance to keep us safe.

No longer grounded,

you were lost.

Not certain you reached out.

You took a chance.

The buds are blooming, and its time.

What you will become who knows.

Taking little steps,

you still hold your breath.

Still burning up in flames,

your mind remembers what she said.

That steam, now a breeze calms you slowly.

You start to realize what you need.

You look into the mirror and are proud of thee

But that heat in your veins,

is ready to burst into flames.

Still afraid of the future,

You remain strong like a trooper
