Seeking Hidden Treasure

I am a gate keeper

I hold the keys to unlock greatness

Yet I only allow the entrance of some

Many have approached, desiring to open the gate and learn who I am

Though the seekers' intentions of friendship may be genuine, their standards and beliefs are far from

mine

Somehow, I shun and welcome them simultaneously

I have realized our immense incompatibility

But my kindness and tolerance impedes complete isolation from the gate

Instead of friends, seekers are transformed into mere acquaintances

I have an innumerable amount

I am left to become a seeker myself

Searching for someone reliable, compatible

A fellow gate keeper willing unlock greatness with me

For a great friend, a true friend, is a hidden treasure
