Segregation sucks

Why did people separate the whites from the blacks. Was it just because the colors on their backs. Did they have to walk in packs. Just to get slacks. I just don't get why there was so much hate back then. They should have been friends. That is one thing I would love to have seen. instead they the whites acted like fiends. Rosa Parks stood up for her rights. And got sent to jail for speaking her mind. I would have been in the fights. If the the fights were the right kind.
