Seize The Day

Seize the day that sets at dawn, For the frail year won’t last for long. How easy it is to Spring adore, As it is to Winter curse and ignore. But fool, oh fool, If you think it will last! Even the brightest flame, Does not burn for more than a Season . As the sun sets, and the moon ascends The howling winds of Winter soar. How warm the sun had been, in the moment it was in your palms, Those memories feel like just moments ago and yet so very far. For those who seized the day that set at dawn, The sun never left, it was merely passed on. Night comes for us all; we must all face the night. The important thing is, we always have a light.
