Self

Lived my life with the stubbornness of self. When the world pushed me, I pushed back.
I mocked and teased for all I lacked. Who am I?
I the joke you can't help, but you laugh at. I the girl who is heard but never seen. Why is the world so dark and so mean.?
I made a choice, and it seemed so right, I did not survive from pride, anger or spite. I cried for you love I have yet to keep. I feel the silence in my room when I can not sleep.
I see the mess, but I have yet to clean. Can you sow an oat or do we wander?
I dream of places I have never seen. I dream of warm cuddles and a person who sees me. I feel lost and broken, tattered and obscure. I did not mean to be so insecure. My soulmate do you feel my pain inside?
I look for you in every face, I seek you out and feel out of place. I stuck in life with someone I thought I knew, where are you?
I drop, I stop I spin a word, words are easy, life is real!
