Self-Care Over Chocolate

The sounds of slding doors opening

Employees in red and tan uniforms

Customers rummaging through the aisles

Looking for something that pops up

But I knew what I had in mind

I stumble upon the makeup section

My eyes wonder in curiosity

And it lead me to a pink bottle labled "acne wash"

I read the information on this product if it had any benefit to me

I looked at myself on the mirror which was on the left side of the rack

"I do want to take care of my skin."

It was no more than three minutes when I found my mom

And mentioned to her that I wanted to clean my face

"Didn't you say that you wanted chocolate?" she questions

"I did but I changed my mind."
