Self Conscience

Dear self-conscience,

You are good at times and other times you aren’t.  I don’t think having a boyfriend is good for me right now because you are taking over in a bad way.  I’m overthinking the little problems in our relationship. The main problem being bored. He is not entertaining me.   I’m an overthinker so I start to make up my own reasonings for why he is doing what he is doing.  Maybe he found someone else? Maybe his mom is taking his phone away? Maybe he isn’t interested in me anymore? I started to hurt by all the thoughts that I began to assume.  Is he cheating on me?  I have no idea.  Something is going on and I can’t figure it out.  I wish he would just talk to me.  Say what’s on his mind.  I'm an overthinker.  When you don’t tell me what's wrong, I will make up my own reasoning as you can see.  Maybe it’s because he doesn't trust me? Is he scared? Or it’s nothing and I'm just overthinking. I laid up in bed and my thoughts took over. Crying for hours, my overthinking caused me to believe that my boyfriend was cheating on me.  I was so hurt and it felt so real.   You are messing up my life. I am becoming depressed because of you.  I just want to live my life as stress-free as possible.  You’re no help.  I can’t even have a decent relationship.  He was such a good guy and I pushed him away because of you. Self-conscience, please just learn how to go with the flow, you are thinking too much.  It’s ruining my life.

From,

Self
