Self Destruction

The stars that burn brightest and most brilliant in the beginning are also the first to destroy themselves and transform into a black hole.

I  was once one of these stars; I burned dazzlingly bright, fearless and uncaring.

But the unbearable pressure that I have forever held deep within has since destroyed  me, and transformed me into a black hole.

I am surrounded by everlasting darkness, no one ever knowing what truly lies inside me, and I live out the remainder of my life unnoticed by the rest of the world. Except for the destruction I carry with me wherever I go.

Just like a black hole, anytime anything gets to close to me, I always end up dragging it down into the darkness with me, inevitably destroying it.

Like I destroyed myself.
