Self-destructive

Isaiah 45:9

The Lord Gives a Warning

One who argues with his Creator is in grave danger,

one who is like a mere shard among the other shards on the ground!
The clay should not say to the potter, “What in the world are you doing?
Your work lacks skill!”

Deadly routine

Again a day arrived on time to add yesterday to the past

Although we understand so well that also today won’t last

Children’s voices will fill the air as adults go about their cares

Desires and wants direct the negatives that rule the sphere

Happiness will flow from children’s hearts with dreams filling their applecart

From faith to faith and near to far life’s purpose smiles like a birthday card

How long will this condition last? When will the Lord remove the past?

What will be the role of the cast in the play humanity plays too fast?

Are we called to pave the way or to exist like pots of clay?

Are we to stand on a shelf all day without purpose and nothing to say?

Maybe after all is done and opportunities & chances are dead and gone

We’ll hang our heads without a song as our lives will prove the wrong
