Self Discipline

Learning to swim..
I was taught by fear
being pushed in the deep end
if we swim in the air around us
we learned to survive even then
pulled out of our mothers' wombs
into a new element
and we taught ourselves to breath
even eagles
when they learn to fly
aren't instructed in a step by step
extended procedure
they are simply dropped from a cliff
if they extend their wings
not only can they live
but fly...

So how come i'm suffocating

and drowning

and falling...

will I too end up

at the bottom of the ravine

broken

dead...
