"Self-Discovery"
The life I lead is a ripple pattern
Crossing in any general direction
When my words reveal what I yearn
I am greeted with my reflection
A pathway forms into my heart and soul
When my words cling together
Where I may view what I won't unfold
If only I knew better
But who is the man that my words reveal
The man in the mirror and on the surface
Should I disregard what I feel
If I don't know who I am for certain
Only words may settle my inquisition
And grant me peace of mind
But what if I have a revelation
And I am not pleased with what I find
When my time in this world comes
My words will be left behind
They will be found with no place to run
You will see what I had inside
