Self-doubt

Dear Self-Doubt,

I hate you. You have made my life, and many others, so much harder than

they ever needed to be. When I was a child you were barely present and that's how I

liked it. As I grew older you became the one closest to me; the one I listened to

the most. Many times you told me I wasn't good enough and that I should just give

up. With the help of caring friends, I learned to ignore you. I learned to keep you

away from my dreams and believe in myself. You don't have a place in my heart

or life like you once did. Every time you try to creep in I'm able to kick you out.

I am no longer a slave to you self-doubt.

                                                                     Sincerely, Casie
