Self forgiveness

Where tongues solve no quarrels and words shift no gears When sound assaults the air and settles in unresponsive ears Forgiveness is mine alone when no time is left for words When only letters on paper can help remove the swords Guilt is mine alone when silence is left to grow When a pen is laying idle and the world never gets to know.
