SELF HARM
Even though it’s easier to cut up my binder
I rather cut open my arms
And what watch blood drip down onto the bathroom floor
Even though I could burn paper
I rather burn my thighs to a crisp
Because the pain lets me finally feel something
And when my teacher asked what happened I just say, "I got hurt in the dark.”
