Self Help 101

Stare and gaze at gemstones in ashtrays

Mark the shine of all the hopeless times

Will you ever stop and wait?

Will you ever turn the other cheek?

To see the wilting grass on both sides?

Let go of yourself and your selfish ways

Callous and cold is no way to behave To our own soul

The Thing that’s most hated is our deprecation

Loathing our loathing tone

And we despised our demise

And only recognize our esteem

When it’s running low

Hate our self-hating, try to keep changing

When changing hurts the most

and detest our regrets

until the only thing that’s left is us feeling

that we’re alone
