Self love.

Self-love.

My love is divine

Truly one of a kind

I don't need anyone to tell me I'm fine

I'm a queen in my own mind

My black is beautiful to my face to my toes

All the way up to my rounded nose

And my rough kinky hair I do declare

My texture is fair

To my big fish lips

To the dips in my hips

My melanin is the color of coffee

And my voice as sweet as toffee

I don’t hate my fate for your

Quickness to discriminate

Because we’re gonna regenerate

I use my words to delegate

Because I know my fate.
