Self-Love

All my life I've struggled to find

Who I am inside

And I 'm tired of standing on the sidelines

I gotta open up my eyes

And see

What I really need

And who I need to be

So I'll look past the locked doors

At so many possibilities

But let's look at the world we all live in

The place we all reside

And let me ask why you must question

The way I self identify

When you can be figuring out

Who you are inside

My will to live

And my struggle to survive

Is too strong for your opinion

And too grand for your snide

So look me up and down

I hope you like what you see

I don't need your spreadsheet lies

Because

I

Love

Me
