Self Love

Grew up giving myself to others, never receiving

Living in this world is cold

Im the only one freezing

Aligning myself with the masses

Hoping to be accepted

Searching for validation through others

I had no luck

Envious of people on my screen

I loathed myself

Exhuasted I gave up

Dejection at its highest, im close to the edge

When I realized the world hijacked my brain

I caused all this pain

So much more ahead of me

So much undiscovered

What I was searching for wasnt there

it wasnt here

it wasnt everywhere

Love was in me

It was just for me
