Self Love is a Dream

Dear Mama I believe that I have a terrible confession I may have a mild depression And while the whole world is going through a recession I lay in my bed going through this hard lesson But the good days don't lessen the pain and the hate I have for myself While the whole world is wondering why Jesus wept But day after day, I talk to God and he listens I realize how the long nights are different I learned that I grew up in a dream That life ain't always peaches and cream It's a continuous cycle of REMS good and bad That can be made into realities when you wake up I love myself even so that I don't need no makeup
