Self Motivation

I wake up in the morning,
stand in front of the mirror,
wondering who is standing before me
as it becomes so much clearer

It's me, the one setting the goals,
It's up to me to see them through
I'm responsible for my own fate
this is something I CAN do

I have church and my faith,
being a christian has made me strong,
I have family and friends
who gave me the values I carry along

My dedication, hard work, and educationI
I wholehartedly believe
will assist me in helping and caring for people
That is what I intend to achieve
