Self Pity

People press their worries and struggles in life tirelessly to willing listeners.

They push and shove their miseries to drown gentle lilies,

Decapitate innocent blue birds, trapping inspiration and perseverance.

Through purge, satisfaction festers within their hearts.

But they remain oblivious to their murderous acts.
