Self worth

For once I would like to be told

I have a beautiful mind.

That the way I articulate my sentences

could bring tears to your eyes

and rage to your mind.
That my view of the world

could make you shiver worse

than any below freezing weather.

Because if I’m told

I have a “nice ass” or “thick thighs”

one more time,, I will scream.
