Self Worth and Its Worth

I’m stranded.

Don’t know where I am, starting to lose

sense of who I am, but that can’t occur.

See, while my location may be unknown,

my identity and ideals cannot be gone

for that is what it truly means to be lost.

What does material object mean to my heart

if I can’t decide why it would matter to myself

in the first place or how it applies to me.

If my sense of self-expression, evaluation,

worth, and even as far as love is astray

I truly am stranded.
