Selfie

She poses on a cliff Smiles at her phone Sends her friends a selfie And falls off all alone. One friend looks for her all day One leaves her unread The first one mourns in her own way The other clears her head. Both her friends have known her Since school days, you see Both have stuck by her side They always were a "we." But now she's gone and both are lost Cause they don't get along She was the glue, she was the floss Without her, it's all wrong.

My poem calls her the floss. I used that not because it rhymes, but because floss keeps stuff clean and contained in between stuff. I hope you enjoy this and that I have helped you understand it better.
