Selfish

I said no, over and over

And I made you feel like something leftover

I made you feel like trash

You burned to ash

And you saw through all my flaws

You handed me your all

I knew I didn't deserve it

But I was selfish, that I admit

I started to know all your pains

You were wrapped in all these chains

But you still put me in your heart

And I was the one who tore it apart

And you saw through all my flaws

You handed me your all

I knew I didn't deserve it

But I was selfish, that I admit

You knew the real me

You had a lock over your heart and you gave me the key

You loved me anyway

You loved me everyday

I pushed you away

I didn’t want you to stay

I built up a wall

I walk around like a broken doll all you wanted was my all

And you saw through all my flaws

You handed me your all

I knew I didn’t deserve it

But I was selfish, that I admit

I’m sorry I hurt you

But my feelings are a zoo but that’s something I can’t undo

At least let me pretend

My life isn’t a dead end

But I was selfish, that I admit
