Selflessness

A silhouette of youth Blind to the suffering silence of others Selfish with an innocent glow at the same time Mine mine mine I would say But my lips now voice a different language This time not a trace of selfishness Pure selflessness An open window of beautiful possibilities An opportunity to fill the world with love and not greed Now an enlightened body A sanctuary of Hope A helping hand to anyone who reaches Just like the woman before me
