Selune

My love the moon:

the beauty of that silver light

radiates over us all,

but for me I see more

than just anyone can.

My love the moon:

waxing, waning,

ever changing,

but never fading

always shining bright.

My love the moon:

running from the glow

that gives her light,

but not forever,

just until dawn.

My love the moon:

rises and falls,

turning the dark bright,

but must leave me

until the day is done.
