Send Me a Miracle

Too young to feel so old

Standing too tall to feel so low

Chin up too high to break down and cry

Too loved to not feel alive…

If this is true

Why does it feel this way?

God can give me a day of pure sunshine

But I’ll rather bring down rain

I tell myself that one day, that person will come

But for now, he’s stuck in my head, like a song that will never end

And when I dream, I don’t want to wake up

And when I’m lost and don’t know where to turn

And when I need to speak but don’t know who to speak to

And when I can’t let go and it burns

And when I lose control and don’t know what to do

I ask God to send me a miracle!

Send me a miracle!

Too strong to feel so weak

Too strong to feel so beneath… the ground

Sitting in this room with silence, I’ll bring the sound

Been holding my breath for too long, it’s time to breathe out

If this is true

Why does my life seem this way?

God can give me a day of pure sunshine

But I’ll rather bring down rain

Send me a miracle
