Senior Solo
Bright lights, curtains drawn, strike my pose, waiting.
“Every Heart” is my solo, time to shine.
Heart beating, skin glowing, muscles flexing.
Music playing, memories beginning,
Let the moves tell the story, make it mine.
Bright lights, curtains drawn, strike my pose, waiting.
Leg extensions, full out, I’m expressing
Moments of my life and turns intertwine.
Heart beating, skin glowing, muscles flexing.
High leap, arms stretched out, anticipating
The next movements that make me feel divine.
Bright lights, curtains drawn, strike my pose, waiting.
Last eight count, final pose, my mom crying.
Proud of me, I feel the love; all is fine
Heart beating, skin glowing, muscles flexing.
First place, double platinum award winning.
Time spent working hard, technique is refine.
Bright lights, curtains drawn, strike my pose, waiting.
Heart beating, skin glowing, muscles flexing.
