Senior Year

Senior Year

As each day goes by

I look back to the days of glory

when the relationship between brothers

were very special and holy.

To have this feeling for one another

it is the true feelings of having a brother

as we walk onto the field with determination

we look into each others eyes and seek pure domination

the clock is about to start so lets stop here

I still can’t believe its our senior year.

I have waited for this moment but it has come too soon

every week I look forward to those friday afternoons

to step on that field and shed some sweat

to play mules football with no regret

I play each play like its my last

always remembering what happened in the past.

Day in and day out I block my heart out

so when I leave the field I leave no doubt

when on the field and things get rough

we pull together and become mule tough

each game as I look into the crowd and see our community

they dress in green and gold in uniformity.

Now my senior year is close to an end

just want to thank my coaches and friends

when I say this I mean it with a passion

I want to be the team who becomes the 2013 state champions!.
